Procedures

Selected for the mechanism and the goal

Complementary procedures that can support recovery and the main medical treatment, without replacing it.

Which therapy is suitable, in what sequence and how often is determined by a doctor after an examination, an assessment of the indications and a check for contraindications.

    TECAR therapy at Medica Kabomed
    Bioregulatory technologies

    Bioregulatory and restorative procedures

At Medica Kabomed we work with modern medical technologies aimed at recovery, physiological regulation, redox balance, microcirculation, neuromuscular function and general tone.

    Molecular hydrogen H₂ inhalation

    Molecular hydrogen H₂ inhalation

The patient inhales molecular hydrogen through a nasal cannula. The procedure is used as a complementary restorative method aimed at supporting redox balance, physiological adaptation and recovery processes.

    Photobiomodulation PBM

    Photobiomodulation PBM

A non-invasive procedure with red and near-infrared light, usually around 660 nm and 810–850 nm. It is used as a complementary method to support cellular energetics, local microcirculation, tissue comfort and recovery processes.

    Duration: 10–25 minPrice: 20 €

The time of a session is not arbitrary: it is calculated from the required light dose — how much light energy the treated area needs to receive (J/cm²) — and from how strongly the device shines on the skin (mW/cm²). Stronger light means a shorter time for the same dose.

    Hydrogen bath

    Hydrogen bath

A warm water procedure with water enriched with dissolved molecular hydrogen H₂. The procedure combines the physiological effects of warm-water immersion with exposure to molecular hydrogen, support for peripheral microcirculation and possible redox modulation.

Preliminary clinical studies in humans show possible effects on peripheral microcirculation, heat retention and markers of antioxidant capacity.

    Duration: 30 minPrice: 50 €

    PMCT — peripheral magnetic stimulation

    PMCT — peripheral magnetic stimulation

A non-invasive procedure in which a pulsed magnetic field induces electrical currents in the underlying tissues and can activate peripheral nerves and muscle fibres.

PMCT is used as a complementary method for neuromuscular activation, reducing muscle tension and spasm, improving functional movement and influencing local discomfort.

Depending on the intensity and the protocol, the stimulation can produce clearly pronounced muscle contractions, without needles and without surface electrodes on the skin.

    Duration: 15–20 minPrice: 45 €

    TECAR therapy

    TECAR therapy

TECAR is a non-invasive capacitive-resistive radiofrequency procedure in which high-frequency electromagnetic energy is transferred to the tissues and produces controlled local warming and a physiological response.

The method is used as a complementary physical therapy to support local microcirculation, reduce muscle tension and stiffness, improve tissue comfort and support recovery processes.

Depending on the clinical goal, a capacitive or resistive mode is used, which interact differently with superficial and deeper tissues.

    Duration: 20–30 minPrice: 45 €

    PEMF — pulsed electromagnetic field

    PEMF — pulsed electromagnetic field

PEMF uses low-energy pulsed electromagnetic fields whose parameters are adjusted according to the therapeutic goal.

In experimental and clinical studies PEMF is associated with changes in cell signalling, ion transport, calcium homeostasis and inflammatory pathways. Clinically, the method is used mainly as a complementary physical therapy for musculoskeletal discomfort, pain symptoms and recovery programmes.

PEMF does not produce the strong muscle contractions characteristic of peripheral magnetic stimulation PMCT; its aim is a different type of biophysical effect.

    Collagen stimulation and tissue recovery

    Collagen stimulation and tissue recovery

A non-invasive photobiomodulation procedure with red light at 630 and 660 nm, aimed at stimulating fibroblast activity and the natural processes of collagen synthesis and remodelling.

It is suitable for maintaining the density and elasticity of the skin, soft tissue recovery and support of regenerative processes — on its own or as part of an individual programme for recovery and healthy ageing.

    Duration: 10–20 minPrice: 20 €
